Backer Portraits
Part of our original Kickstarter for FAR WEST was a series of upper-level backing levels that included the following language:
“You enter the world of FAR WEST as a character featured in the Limited Edition and future projects— including a portrait of you done in the FAR WEST style by Rick Hershey.”
So we thought that we’d give you a look at some of the stalwart citizens of the Far West that have emerged as a result. The five illustrations presented here are from the 60-odd portraits completed by Rick Hershey before his departure from the project (the remaining 20-something are being done by Gareth-Michael Skarka, and we’ll present some of those in future postings).
